I am in my mid-twentiesI have been acquaintences with this guy for several years (we see each other maybe once a month). We are going out on our first official date, where we'll be alone together for the first time, and not in a group. I am tall (like six feet tall), not skinny, but not fat. I have short, brown hair and hazel eyes. I tend to always wear jeans. We are just doing a casual dinner and a movie on a Saturday night. I want to look nice, but not too dressy. What is a good outfit to wear that would make an impression without looking like I am trying to hard?

nice jeans and a cute shirt with some casual shoes, but not tennis shoes, maybe some flats or low boots. Do you generally wear make-up? You may want to spend an extra few minutes on that, maybe some extra mascara or a new lipstick. Be sure to wear some perfume. And for a confidence booster, get some really nice underwear: he won't see them, but you'll know that you are sexy from the skin out! Good luck on your date, hope it goes well!

i suggest wearing jeans but a nicer top. you want to be comfortable. A nice shirt that might have a like botton open v neck sort of shirt with a little lacy cami under it and your hair down will add some dressyness to it

You mentioned that you always wear jeans. However, since you want to look dressier, on bottom here's some good things to wear:

* a pencil skirt (they look good on tall frames and give you curves)
* dressy pants (they will make your legs look longer)
* or you could always wear some cute jeans!

Wear a plain or prints sundress or a skirt with a fun top. Reds, burnt orange, greens, browns or turquoise is a good choice fo your eyes.

just wear what you are comfortable in
dont go out and buy clothes to impress
just make sure your clothes are clean pressed and servicable
no holes! LOL! wait thats the style now aint it?
the whole idea is to present yourself as what you really are and you will regret wearing something that aint your style and someone really digs it and you have to TRY and maintain that image
just me
