Pride?
If one's love "cheated" on them, pride would be the least of their issues.
There's precious little room for pride in a broken heart.

Well, pride really has nothing to do with it. If another human being will treat you like that, especially one who supposedly loves you (or loved you at one time), than you're better off without him/her. I look at it as seeing one's true colors and eventually being able to move on to someone much better.

My pride isn't what needs to be kept intact..it's his. You leave him, move on, and be happy..That's what keeps you happy and that's all that matters, pride is moving on.

being reasonable- not beating the other party to a pulp, making sure that they know they have done wrong, but not over-reacting. People will respect you for not letting it sink you into depression- but they will dis you if you pretend you don't care. um...tuff one.
