Would you rather have the full package kind of thing (lawn mowing, mulching, trimming, fertilizing, aeration, etc.) for the entire year already planned out and divided into equal payments over 8-9 months or would you rather do everything item by item?

I personally would rather do it item by item, that way I could decide at the time if I want to spend that money or not, but it seems that most people are expecting me to make up a full contract with equal payments for everything, and I dont know why really?

I dont have any grass in my garden, so the question is not relevant really - sorry. I dont like grass - prefer slabs and decking.

i would not complication. to maintain the backyard, they have an inclination to count (IMO) too plenty on chemical factors. i do no longer want my own backyard to be a well being risk sometime a week. in case you rather do no longer choose to mow, i might guess good money that there is a newborn in the community who'd be prepared to cut back the universal city lot for 10 or 15 greenbacks in maximum areas of the country. Then all you're left with is dropping fertilizer and probably weed killer a pair of times a 300 and sixty 5 days, plus you have the satisfaction of understanding which you're coaching a newborn the thank you to generate income particularly of dumping your difficult-earned money right into a faceless employer. different than for mowing and watering, I spend under $50 consistent with 3 hundred and sixty 5 days on my backyard right here in Minnesota. via August there are some weeds lurking, yet no longer something that's worth $one hundred/month to do away with, and the backyard is exceedingly thick in the places the place no one's taking part in baseball or soccer on it.

Paying separate would definately allow you more control but if it becomes a regular routine, then you might just get irritated by the fact that you didn't make the once off payment... Paying item by item will most likely cost more too in the long run.. I say: If u can easily afford the once off payment, then just go for it

I work for a landscaping business, and most people we run into that want us to just split it up over the year just like not having to worry about their yards for a year, and really don't want to hear what needs to be done, they just want to be reassured that it will be done. Plus I'm sure it is easier for them to budget things out that way too. Just make sure to always charge more when factoring in your hours for the year, just in case something comes up , and one task might take longer than you thought at the time.
