I am a college student studying fashion and I'm really interested in wardrobe styling for television, film, and entertainment. I want to know how to get into this business. I'm especially interested in television styling for like a sitcom, drama or game shows

You can apply for internships. Sometimes the school themselves have career centers and such.

Interships are a GREAT way to make connections! Be humble if you get one, and people will love you.

Pretty soon, next thing you know, they will be offering you jobs on other projects.

Start putting together a portfolio of fashion ideas. For example, get a well known sitcom, and put together something for that sitcom to see if you have the "eye."

You can use pics from magazines and such.

Also, get some cheap business cards (vistaprint.com offers them for free) and just your name, contact number, and "Fashion Stylist" so you can pass out to relevant contacts. (Networking is a HUGE part of it! It's not who YOU know, it's who KNOWS YOU.)
