Would you be hippies or yippies? if you were or are born bak in the 50-67's

If? I was a hippy and very proud of it. On the inside, I still am. No gas guzzler car for me. I really thought we were changing the world but it still got away from us. I am proud of the fact that my son is a tree hugger. I guess I did something right. I got into the Jesus Freak movement so I'm very liberal in some areas and very conservative in others. We chose to march to our own drummer and still do. I was always anti-drugs as they really ruined some fine lives. I was the earth mother type who fed my babies goats milk and grew herbs. It was really a good time to be alive. Burning my bra was a hoot

as a child born in the 70's fed the cheesy crap of tommorows world and onward to the thatcherite 80's where greed bloomed and everyone was sure of a nuclear winter and yuppies talked into breeze blocks i would have liked to have been a hippie if i had been a child of the sixties. i detest greedy developers and bankers or people who are out to make a quick dollar at the misery of others trying to make an honest dollar for an honest days work. i don't care for free love or a drug dazed world. but imagine what the world would be like if everybody triped into utopia for just one second.
