Disney always seems to be busy now with all the attractive promotions they have going. I'm happy they've made it more affordable but I so long for the days when it wasn't crowded! Anyway to answer your question it is incredibly crowded in mid July, there are extremely long queues, and we have been there when they run out of fastpasses on the more popular rides. Don't forget the heat is horrible as well.

We have just returned from Orlando, Even in February there were long queues in the Disney theme parks and Magic Kingdom is full of strollers/pushchairs. Universal not as crowded. In July make sure you take plenty of water with you, it is so hot and you don't want to get de-hydrated

Yes, and Yes. And its hot and humid too!!
But for the queue you can reserve a time for that particular ride and come back later at that time to get in and you won't have to wait.
Have fun!!

Yes, expect big crowds, long waits, high temps and an afternoon thunderstorm.

You bet! But there is the easy-pass, when you reserve the show you want and avoid the zig-zag lines.
