There is this girl in class who has her hair in a ponytail most of the time. She dresses very feminine but her demeanor and the way she walks (fast and assertive) makes me think otherwise. What are some signs that the woman is a lesbian? She's not femme but she's not butch either... sort of in the middle?

i think the only real way to tell if sdomeone is gay or lesbain is if they are kissing holding hands and grab assing with the same sex no offfense to any one in this section

Have you ever been to New York or even the Bronx? I have yet to meet a woman from either city who wasn't somewhat assertive in some way. To answer your question: NO! It would be like shaking a pregnant woman's abdomen to see if the baby(or babies as the case may be) is heavy or light weight!

you've got to quit believing in stereotypes....because they are mostly just that. most people's sexual orientation cannot be determined simply by how they talk, walk or dress. she may just be....assertive! ....or just in a hurry!
