im looking for a dress up game with 1920-1960s style of clothes, where you can dress up your character in that kind of stuff. not the sims 2 either.

That's such a huge time frame, you should probably narrow it down. The fashion styles of the 1920's were so different than the 1960's. What kind of a game are you looking for-- computer, party game for weekend parties, or other fun dress up stuff? Have you googled it yet?

dressupgames.com has a million dress up games. I think they might have a game like that. Don't know; try it.
