I used a First Response Early Detection and the Dollar Tree brand and got a positive 3 days before my period was due. Most women will get a positive test the day the period is due, but it it is a late implanter, it may take several days longer to show up. I would try one more test (Dollar Tree tests are only a buck and pretty sensitive). If it does not show up by now, you are not PG and your period may be late due to stress, illness, or many other factors. Good luck!

I took a pregnancy test seven full days before my period was due and got a positive.
If you do not chart or monitor your fertility in any way, and you think you may have conceived, you should wait 19 days (or longer) after having sex to test. Why 19?! Sperm can live approximately 5 days in the proper environment; if the sperm managed to live until you popped an egg, the actual conception could have taken place several days after the sex act that got the sperm there. To make sure you're not testing too early, assume the sperm had very long lives (5 days is considered a very long sperm life) and that conception occurred then. Then allow 14 days for the embryo to implant and develop enough hCG to show up on a pregnancy test (96% of pregnant women will test positive by then.)

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period. This symptom is commonly explained by other reasons. If you have been sexually active and have missed a period, it is recommended that you take a test:
Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding

The best thing to do is wait another week! then get the dollar store preg tests, they are very accurate! :) for a dollar each you can buy more then 1 at a time fore less, but yes just wait another week just to be sure!..
I found out probably a little before a week after my missed period with my last baby!

Seems like 4 days after your period you would get an accurate result, but if you normally don't miss periods than I would probably take another test.

You should go see a doctor and get a blood test that will tell you for sure. Usually it should show up week after you miss your period, thats what i heard anyways. Good luck to you and i hope you get the results you want:)
