I'm a redhead with fair skin and people like me DO NOT get tan. It's a fact of nature. So why do people always trip out and ask why I'm so white? Does everyone have to fake and bake to look good?

There is nothing wrong with being "pale". In all of my years, I have never seen a tanned redhead. I've seen them burnt to a ruby-red crisp, but never tanned. I like the all-over fair skinny features of redheads. Redheads have features blondes and brunettes can only dream about.

Nothing's wrong with being pale, and when you are much older and looking WAY younger than all your peers who bake, they'll know why! And I won't even get into the skin cancer thing.
Incidentally, it wasn't until around the 50's or 60's that getting a tan became an "in" thing. Up until then, a tan was a sign of a "lower class" - people who had manual labor outside jobs. Not that it was right, but that was how people looked at it in the past.

I like pale skin. Also redheads are in particular danger of getting skin cancer if they expose themselves to tanning beds and the sun too often. Matters of likes and dislikes are just personal preferences.

the only thing i can find bad about being pale is the risk of skin cancer, but to tell u the truth, and im not a raceist but i am just not attraced to darker colored skin, thats just the way i am, so good for you not being bronze, half the girls who tan look like they spend a week in a microwave anyways.

Hon...I am the same red hair and pale....I go from white to lobster red to white again, not even a slight tan..
**** the haters...they are just pissed cause us redheads are one of a kind.

Join the club sister, i'am as white as white can be. Have Red hair and i dont tan. people always laught at my white legs, look and point. Because your always find, its the one's that tan are the dumb one's that dont understand why some like us dont.

a lot of people associate being pale with being sick. So when they see you they think you may be ill when in reality you are completely fine. It is just a preconception that pale people are sick when there really is nothing wrong with being pale

I don't fake bake. There are plenty of girls that fake bake enough to count for me and you. Besides, the darker you are when your young, the wrinklier your skin will be when your old.

nothing i am pale and people always want me to go "tanning" with them ... why so i can get burnt ... i will lay out in the sun but I will not forget my 50 sp sun block
