Do you have Prominent Veins on your arms and feet?

Hi there,
I am curious to know if there are many women ages 18 and up who get very prominent veins on their arms and feet as a result of fitness levels,shoe types worn,height/weight,hereditary reasons etc..Would also appreciate any views you have about yr veiny arms and feet and if they affect you in any way at all i.e.circulation or appearance.I am doing some research and would appreciate any help and pics should you be willing to provide an example.I also have a table which I need completed and would appreciate sincere help.I can be contacted on : [e-mail]

I have prominent veins on my hands, arms, and feet. It does not bother me at all. They do tend to get worse when I excerise or get really hot for some reason. I'm not really sure what the latter has to do with anything, but I do notice it then.

Yes and a couple of my friends have the same issue!!!The veins in my feet and hands bulge and are really blue.I am 22 and they started looking like this when I was about 13! They get even more prominent when I am pregnant.I worried about it for a long time but my doctor has seen it several times and she has never expressed any concern.

I have prominent veins on the tops of my hands- always have- and I'm not particularly athletic.
I used to have a map of blue veins across my chest (like my skin was transparent) when I was in my 20's but that's gone now.

I don't know if this will help you, but I read in a health article that if you continuously are exercising and dieting it causes the veins in you body to protrude. The article did say that it wasn't harmful, but just an annoyance to that person.
