what happened at the end of Fallen Angel on ITV last nite?

it went back to when she was a child.rosie's grandad died and her mam committed suicide and said she had killed her dad even though it was really rosie

It went back to when she was a child and her mother was alive, it turns out that her Grandad had dementia when she was nearly 5 and he asked her to cut his throat which she did. Her mother saw her holding the knife and knew what happened, so she commited suicide and said that she had killed him to put him out of his misery. Rosie told Wendy (who she called Auntie) 6 months later, what had really happened but Wendy told her never to tell anyone ever again and she didnt tell anyone either. This is what made her into the person she was.
