for some reason questions like this always result in answers that sound extremely cliche, this is certainly no exception. true love is something one can't even begin to understand until that person is capable of truly loving themself, which is a result of knowing one's self, being introspective, knowing one's expectations, and values, sometimes a person cannot in good conscience compromise, and it's best if those areas are not disovered after the fact.... when truth is involved it requires effort, attentiveness so as to develop a means for discerning and adapting the expectations of another as if there were no division between the two. sometimes some things are left unsaid, true love gives a voice even to the silence between two people. be open from the beginning and insist that you be given the same consideration. the love between two people must be based in honesty, it must be achieved by honest means, and it must be preserved in the same manner, true love is just that, it's true, in regard to that, there is no compromise. the truth, be it love or in another form, is always found within, that is where we gain the most perspective, that is where the search oughta begin.

High school. The majority of people find true love with their high school sweet hearts.
Others meet with it later on in life when they least expect it.

that is correct , if you go looking for love then you will only get a person that is not real. basically if you look you will find the wrong person, just being needy is not enough.. have more standards.
