Monster and Career Builder are much better. Hot Jobs keeps posting the same listings over and over again, even after they have been filled months prior.

People are only hired after an interview. If someone offered me a job without looking me in the eyes and only reading my resume, I'd think twice then say "no".

You need to post your resume to multiple places, call businesses in the city you are moving to, and ask for a 15 minute informational interview by phone. The best way to get a job is through networking, posting your resume is a start, but you have to open all the windows and doors, not just one.

For one thing, if you can't understand why you can't be hired on-line, but has to be in person, you aren't in the field of rocket science, are you.

If you are limiting yourself to only HotJobs, you're wasting a lot of time waiting. There are a LOT of sites you should have your resume on--Monster.com and CareerBuilders.com were mentioned. Try DICE.com, the KITlist (Keep In Touch list), craigslist.org, and others in your specific area. You're in a box--start thinking outside it to get the results you want.
