It seems ludicrous in the extreme to assume or believe that life exists on only on planet in the entire vastness of the universe. For the same reason (the vastness of the universe) it is not likely that we will encounter extraterrestrial life within 50 years, unless we find life on Mars or the Jovian moons.
One must hope that we do not encounter intelligent extraterrestrial life within 50 years, as we will are totally unprepared to deal with another intelligent species, Superior technology is no guarantee that a civilization advanced enough to discover us will be benign.

Is there extraterrestrial life on other planets?
Probably.
Will we find out for sure in the next 50 years?
Difficult to say, but our technology is getting exponentially better as time moves on, to the point where we *might* be able to detect it within the next 50 years...

that's a huge universe and there has to undeniably a minimum of be unicellular existence someplace. there's a lot less of a chance that there is a few other thing beneficial progressed than this, yet regrettably until eventually the extraterrestrial existence is progressed adequate that it can make contact we would not know if it exists or no longer. we may nicely be beaming radio alerts to some distant planet that has dinosaur-like creatures, yet considering that they couldn't in any respect deliver a reply we would not know they existed.

Maybe. On the other hand the creation of life may be a totally unique circumstance kind of like our winning the cosmic lottery. Assuming other creatures that might be out there would have some similarities to us such as not being able to tolerate extreme heat or cold they would have to have gotten their start on a planet something like ours and avoid too many collisions with asteroids and so forth like the one that apparently wiped out the dinosaurs. Maybe the chain of circumstances that got us here is too much to hope for twice. there may also be planets out there teeming with life but they may be lacking in the intelligence or motivation to go looking for us.

It's likely that life exists on other planets. It's unlikely we will detect that life within the next 50, 100 or 1000 years.

There are billions of stars in the universe. Each of these stars is a sun in it's own solar system. There's got to be life on other planets. It would be very arrogant of earthlings to think otherwise.

From many claims we already know. The proof is all around us and yet so many still would prefer the religious stories instead. There are most likely many who already have been;"Taken" who know for sure and most likely won't ever return. For those who have the abilities to create these special effects even Frosty the Snowman is possible.
