That all those that have caused the riots at the detention centre should be deported back to the country from which they originate, without any chance of appeal. Why should British taxpayers money be spent on imigrants who take the British system for granted. Send them home!

Anyone agree or disagree if so why ?

Mighty C, putting them in custody will only lead to the same thing, more taxpayers money being spent on them.

Shady, do you not think we have american criminals here too.....like you have them from other countries in your prisons..............and anyway my question wasnt about criminals as such, more to do with illegal immigrants.

Agree 100%.

However, I spot the fluffy PC brigade ready to barge in. Maybe we should place them in their custody?

If the people are causing riots and all sorts of problems then they should be sent back, but there should be some way to see if what they have done is bad enough to be exiled. But really I hate when people take take take from coutries and have no intention of giving back or respecting said country *I'm not from Britain, America tho, similar issues* all in all I agree.

Think about it. If you release them, then they will likely come back as illegal immigrants (maybe with fake ID's) and start trouble all over again. Detention is somewhat of a deterrent to others but it certainly prevents a lot of mischief that could be potentially done by the detainees.

So how would you send them back to where they came from? By plane? That might get expensive. Maybe you could ship them halfway and let them swim the rest.

I think they should have at least one appeal but i agree with you. That's kinda how it is where I'm from...only about 2 hours away from the mexican border. But you say those who cause the riots then yes they should be sent back to their home. It's like having a guest over who destroys your house and asks to borrow money. Most cases you'll say no.

i agree with giving people a home here if they are in fear of their live in their own country. If these rioters were surrounded by so much fear of violence in their country why would they start any type of violence here? Seems to me we have to look deeper into why some of these immigrants are here!
