If she really likes you not only for your looks, it won't make a difference. Ask her out anyways. (How bad is your haircut? I bet you could gel it or something to make it look better.)

Try to convince your dad not to make you get a hair cut. It's not like he has total control over your hair. If he needs an explanation, just tell him that your going to ask a girl out and you want to look normal. Most people would understand that.

How old are you? Why would your dad MAKE you get a haircut??? That is gay. My boss was just asking me yesterday if he should make his son get a hair cut and I was like, huh? Why? Is it hurting him to have long hair? Is it hurting someone else?
As far as your problem goes, who cares if you have short hair now? Be confident in WHO you are more than how you think you look. :)

Take her out and don't worry about it. She may be surprised and maybe even shocked for 30 seconds, after that she'll be over it. You should be too.
It's you she's dating, not your hair. You're still the same person, no?

There's nothing wrong with short hair. Just make sure it's clean and neatly combed.
