I met a really great woman and went to visit her this past weekend. I had such a wonderful time and I'm planning my next trip out. I think I love her...well I know I do. I know she cares about someone else. I mean I am not just thinking of sex here I want a relationship with her but because she is straing I'm afraid that door will go unopened but my heart hurts because I want it so bad.

Welcome to the burden of being human! Yes, it sounds just like you described it: You met a nice woman and she is "straight" and totally oblivious to your feelings towards her! Don't be embarrassed or anger with yourself. Just let her know the next time the two of you are together that you find her attractive!

Do you think you can have a friendship with this woman?
I have a friend who just recently revealed to me he is gay. We've been very good friends for over 10 years, and honestly the thought has crossed my mind that he may be gay. I'm straight, but I enjoy his friendship and wouldn't give up on that for anything.
Then again, he also told me he's not interested in me that way. Maybe you'd find it hard to be with her because you have such heavy feelings. But it seems like you'd be giving up on a potentially wonderful friendship.

I think that you just want her because you can't have her. Two thing: she is straight (or bi I guess if you already had sex with her) and second I understand for your question that she lives far away. So why don't you try to meet people in you area with your same interest and not obsess about people you can't have. You are just going to hurt your self.
