How controlling in a man is too Controlling?

I have a friend who says her man wants her to put him first and her family second. He also is complaining about her being not submissive enough.

When a man & woman get married they become one. Your spouse should come before your family.
But, if he's demanding & wants her to be submissive then he's probably too controlling & she probably should put her family first because she needs them.

Whenever a person in a relationship fails to accept the partner for what he or she is, real value, then warning signals should be buzzing full blast. Adults just don't change, on either side of the equation, and this guy sounds controlling and spoiled. That is a recipe for abuse - mental if not physical - down the road.

First of all,that man sounds like a jerk and she needs to kick him to the curb. Secondly,any kind of controlling behavior comes hand in hand with physical abuse and you can bet your bottom dollar if it hasn't happened,it will eventually. Your friend really needs to get out of this unhealthy relationship before it's too late.

If a man is looking for submission he is not looking for an equal parnership, but someone to totally dominate.
If she stays she will lose her own sense of self, her own opinions, her own mind. She wont know who she is or what to think or feel without him telling her.
Is anyone worth losing your whole identity and sanity over?

um yeah tell your friend to run away anyone that would want to come before your family is not someone that really cares for you i have been there done that my family will always come first granted sometimes you need to put things in persepective but he should not demand that
