i am design a yearbook with a gothic theme and i need nontacky ideas?

Question

i aready have skulls and i dont want to overdo the whole goth thing, any other images i might be able to use besides skulls and spider webs?any artists who have that type of work?

by tacky i mean like drawing cartoon girls with a ton of makeup or like iron maiden the band kind of goth drawing by nontacky i mean like andy warhols skull or alfred hitchcock images

Easily, I would say just stick to rich blacks and bold fire red if you want it to be like the rock style of goth or more of a candyapple red for a slightly more toned down elegant goth. keep the skulls simple and in white or bone cream. Other than that, I would suggest you hide away from cobwebs unless it actually looks good.

Less is more when it comes to themes like that. Too much would be tacky and make it feel dated.

Hmm I'm picturing old like victorian ink drawings... scrolls, and plooms... lots of cross hatching and things to add to the classic gothic vibe. Good luck!

i could help u.. thats the kinda stuf i draw.....only u if u explain to me wat u mean by non tacky.......ummm....other then skuls..u could have chainsss...
umm its like a hand in chainsss....and u could also use a scinece book to take images of hands ..whihc have all kinda flesh and bones visible.....anddd.........not realy gothy...butuu could have bare trees in the background and a skul in the foreground.....
