WOW! You just brought me back...
I was in high school, and they were having auditions for a school musical. I needed something I could learn and sing.
I went into my local shop, (we lived in the Bronx at the time) and the place was held up at Gun Point!!!
I was so shaken, I still tried to buy the album (I forgot what it was, it's been so long)...BOTTOM LINE: the register dude reminded me they were just robbed, and unless I had EXACT Change, he couldn't sell me the record!
TRUE STORY!!!

First Record: Metallica Black album (used of coarse Im only 26!!)
First tape: Meatloaf Bat out of He**. (hey I was 9, had my first tape player and I was able to buy it with birthday money lol)

I don't remember the first record, but the first cd I ever bought was Oooooh on the TLC Tip.

The first cd i ever had was given to me buy my mother on Christmas it was a smashmouth album and i can still sing all the words to All - star. The first cd i ever bought myself was Big Shiny Tunes 5, a definitely good choice.

the first tape i bought myself was NSYNC christmas tape and i'm not sure f the first CD,it ws either an NSYNC cd or The prince of eygpt Boys II Men single "i will get there"
