I don't know if I'm just paranoid, but ever since I can remember, I always had this feeling that my cousin had this underline desire to ruin my life, if I let her. Up until a few years ago, I never cared, but I just had the feeling that she wanted to make my life a living hell, but since I didn't care, she had no choice but to leave me alone. I don't know exactly WHY she may have had the urge to ruin my life, other than jealousy or something. Am I just paranoid, or could there be validity in this feeling? Could this just be a symptom of my own self-importance? Have you ever felt this way?

i have never feel this way in my personal life. but in my professional life of course there will always be someone trying to make you look bad in front of the rest of the people. It happens to me, with 2 girls at work but hey, my boss knows I give my 200% and everytime these bitches are up to something I know i would always have a way to stand up for myself and shine :)

No, usually intuition is the best way to go. That your worried particularly about your cousin instead of saying everyone's against you makes it less than just paranoia. Jealousy is common, my sister is like that with me, but I think at some point we both decided to just grow up, and alot of people are just trying to prove themselves. Whatever it is or was, it doesn't matter anymore because it's over and done, if you still have that nagging feeling about it make her a friend: so you think of her as a friend and not a past enemy. (and maybe she'll eventually tell you what WAS wrong.)

You could be paranoid but I doubt it since it is only your cousin and not the whole world. You named that tune and it's called Jealousy. She thinks she could do More with what you have than You do! And you should find that amusing.

Be nice to her but don't let her make you feel guilty. You have entitlement to your own individual self and she is exactly what she turned out to be and nothing more. Peace. @8-)

I know what you mean. I have only experienced something similar to this once. Basically if you let her known that she is bothering you then she will keep doing it. Play it cool and she will go away. If your feeling this way your probably right. Unless your just a massively paranoid individual. (I dont think thats the case though)

An ex friend is trying to ruin my life. I am scared of what she will do next. If you are feeling this strongly then there you might need to tell someone you love to watch your back.
