I read in horror! about the 7 week old little baby girl. She was sexually molested and put through hell by her father who finally killed her, after brutalising her for the 7 weeks of her life!
The judge gave him life without parole.
A man who killed his wife and 3 children and left them to rot, while he went to Thailand, also got the same sentence life without parole. In todays papers.
This is the first time i have read of 2 natural life sentences being given in the same week.
Is this a sign that the judges are finally listening to public demand on tougher sentences?or is it these 2 awful murderer's deserved it more than some other murderer's?Do we rate murderer's differently by the murder they commit?
Please be honest and describe your feelings on the subject! Thanks :-)

I agree that crimes of passion, should always be ruled on the circumstances.Especially if there was abuse.
Could it be today britain is getting more violent because of harder times than it was a few years ago?

anyone who kills should get life not a measly 8yrs and they are out. Just read about a local lad ran over a kid and killed him all he got was 2yrs how must the kids parents feel. The courts/judges need to wake up and listen to the public.

We don't rate murder any differently depending on what type it is all murder. The removal of the death penalty has given these people the chance to commit another murder when they get out. The problem is the sentencing system where it is left to a judge and most in the past have been soft on the offenders.

I feel, - having read about BOTH cases, that you mentioned, - that, there will NEVER be ANY justice WHATSOEVER, for those who DIED, unless Judges, here, in the UK, are able to pass the ONE sentence, that BOTH of these EVIL individuals TRULY DESERVE, - one, of DEATH BY HANGING! Further, I would say, that, I feel SO strongly, about this, that, - IF they require an Official Executioner, to carry OUT such a sentence, then, I would VOLUNTEER, to do so!

In short, the FACT, is as FOLLOWS!

If ANY prospective Government, was to make the RESTORATION of capital punishment, a "POLICY", - then, - ON THAT basis, ALONE, - THAT party, - irrespective of whatever ELSE, they may, - or, may NOT, - offer, - WILL be the ONE, for whom, I shall VOTE!

The poor little girl having that for a father. But no he has to be rehabilitated then he can rejoin the community. Hang the bastard thats what I say. Anyone that can do to a child or any human being does not deserve to live.

most definitely life for a murder like that but i must say i think some cases must be taken with consideration. i mean murders for instance of a man who has led his partner to breaking point through an abusive relationship, or a case of self defence.
cases like those you listed above cannot be justified.

so long because of the fact the policyholder makes money on time table, the coverage remains in-tension for all perils stipulated interior the settlement. maximum life coverage rules disguise all reasons of dying different than acts of conflict and suicide. As previous solutions mentioned, examine the coverage for specific exclusions on the topic of dying whilst in penitentiary, even regardless of the indisputable fact that this is not likely there are any.

It's time to restore the death penalty why should the rest of us be taxed to support such inhuman garbage as these two.
