Is there any software to creat legal documents? documents like real estate contracts, and such?

using the documents you get at office supply stores and so confusing.

Standard Legal offers many software packages to generate documents for Divorce, Bankruptcy, Living Wills, etc.

The price is relatively reasonable ... for instance, the Power of Attorney package is $17.95.

There are several software programs that allow you to create your own legal documents from contracts, leases, wills, etc. Just google "legal document software" and take your pick.

They're risky.

A number of clients come to me over the years to help them resolve disputes over off-the-shelf contracts. There's a lot of potential for overlooking things, phrasing them ineffectively, or making them totally illusory in the first place.

If you're not using a realtor, at least use an attorney. It's a lot cheaper to hire one on the front end to prevent problems than it is to hire one to resolve a preventable dispute.
