I just got told by my current manager that another manager is complaining and whining about what I am doing, and what I am not doing in her eyes. Also that I have overtime, but I am the only one that does my job. She's even went so far to whine about me to the big boss. Is this a sign that she's truly out to get me?

I would say that the other manager is a complainer. And your manager? What an instigator! Personally, I would go to this other person and ask them nicely if they had a problem with you personally or was it just the work they seem to think you aren't doing? You really should nip this in the bud right away or it could escalate into something that its not which in turn might end up causing you more trouble in the long run.

And just wondering, why exactly would the other person be so concerned about your work performance and the overtime you get? Shouldn't that be your immediate supervisors job to monitor??? Just curious....

From experience, I just lost my job after working there for six years....DO NOT TRUST anyone. I thought I was doing a great job, and they came in on 2/13/07, and told me they didn't need me anymore, and I was the manager. To this vary day, I am stilled shocked as to what happened. I am getting to draw my unemployment after waiting for over a month.Be careful.
