I am writing an article for a magazine about home schooling. The article is not meant to be inflammatory against traditional schooling, but everything I am coming up with sounds like I am putting down traditional schools. Any idea on what I could write that would sound impartial?

Traditional schools are still the most popular choice for educating children, however there are reasons why some parents opt to home school their kids.

Just be honest in your writing and include in you article what you just wrote in your question above, that the article is not meant to put down the concept of traditional schooling, rather it is just an article based on sole opinion of the author.

In todays busy society, homeschooling can be a rewarding experience for both the student and the parent.

It could also lead into another point if you dont want to use it to start the essay.

Start with a question. That immediately captures peoples attention. How about WHICH AVENUE IS MORE IMPORTANT TO THE AVERAGE STUDENT / THE SOCIAL CONTACT OF THE PUBLIC SCHOOL OR THE PRIVACY OF HOMESCHOOLING?
