I saw something briefly about something being added to the grand canyon and people were objecting to it. What is this and whats it about.

Breathe , The Canyon's OK
What happened was that the Hulapai Indian tribe needed to make some money so they allowed an outside firm to cantiliver a see- thru "U" shaped walkway 75' out from a cliff wall and 4000' over the Colorado River.
The tribe felt that they could make money by getting a percentage of the admission price while not having to incur the 25 million dollar expense neeeded to build the structure.
The structure in question is first of all not part of Grand National Park .
While tecnically GCNP is just across the river , the part of the Park that most visitors see - and the most magnificent and geolologically diverse part of GCNP -is in fact at least 170 river miles up river
So if visitor thinks that they are going to be visiting the Grand Canyon -they are basically mistaken.

they built(or are building) a walkway i dont know too much about it except you'll be able to walk across it or something of that i think they should leave it alone well id love to walk across the top i walked down in it but i dont want the bridge to break and destroy the canyon
