Either when you have another lined up, or substantial savings in the bank. The actual best time to quit a job is early in the week, so that you start the weekend really early and make former coworkers envious.

at the end of the month... its the best time to buy a car so its probably the best time to quit.
I noticed a lot of people change jobs on their birthday months, thats very interesting
