I believe there's a birth control pill that makes your period come like 4 times a year...
It's called Seasonale.
http://www.seasonale.com/
Try that...but there's really nothing to make you lose less blood. That's just the way your body is.

You could go on the pill to stop your periods if you want to go that far.
Maybe someone else can elaborate on that because im not quite sure about that pill apart from that it is a birth control pill that stops the period.
As for less blood or making it shorter, sorry there is nothing you can do.
It's all or nothing

I don't know how to make it last less but I do know if you sit in the tub for about an hour and a half you can stop your period for a little while.

There is a way that you can prevent your periods from coming... you take birth control any kind will work as all pills have a week of placebo pills (sugar pills) so instead of skipping or taking the sugar pills move on to the next pack of pills. You just keep doing that and it stops your period until you go off of the pill.

You can't you just have to let it go through the cycle, Unless you want to get it regulate, go on birth controls, it helps. any thing else I really don't think you can. all I know when I was on birth control, it was less and light. not heavy at all. good luck.

my wife likes to have sex in the shower while she's on her period (she doesn't let me near her the few days before though). She says it makes her flow seem lighter and speeds it up overall by almost a day.

if you bleed VERY heavy,
then you should go to your doctor and get on the birth control pill. [its not just for sexual protection] but it makes your period not as long and you dont bleed nearly as heavy.
ALOT of people have told me it helped.
i havent heard one negative comment.
im not on it, but i do bleed heavy and if i keep doing it i will consider getting on it myself.
