Define Perfect Storm. If you're talking about the movie, Great movie, but it's something you have to watch when you are really really happy because you'll be depressed by the end.

As for storms... I love stormy weather and I've been in almost every kind of natural disaster except a Typhoon, Tidal Wave, and Mudslides.

Squalls on the ocean are very, very scary even if you're just on the coast and it's hitting hard. Hurricanes can be scary as hell...and just as brutal as a squall. I've had a tornado come directly up my driveway for a quarter mile then take a sharp left 100 yards from my front porch.

My perfect storm - Thunder... and lots of it. Steady rain and beautiful lightening.

I assume you are speaking about THE perfect storm of Oct 91 and the story of the Andria Gail. There is a very good book by Sebastian Junger entitled "The Perfect Storm" that was published in 1997 which I would heartily suggest reading. Storms like this one are rare and very dangerous. The north Atlantic under the best of conditions is sometimes pretty rough. I was on a cruise ship just this past October heading south and we experienced an entire day of rock and roll and it was pretty serious with damage and a lot of sickness and you could put a lot of Andria Gails inside that cruise ship.
