there was a guy that was my lab partner he started talking to me i thought he was HOT and thought about how he would never be interested in me im probably NOT his type. he was a white boy shaved head huge tattos on his arm..but then he started to talk to me more and told me he wants to date but after i noticed he was interested I WASNT INTERESTED and made excuses to not go out claiming i was so busy with college and work..but he still waited so i finally went out with him to get it over with since i promised,. on our date he was happy and enyoyed it then insisted on taking me home i told him i been going home alone b4 i met him but he said now its diff since we r together i should call him when i get home he'll be waiting. i never called him that day nor the entire summer then saw him in lab he only said hi and went to speak with his friends in lab..then i was thinking he looks kinda HOT in that tan and i stopped myself..why did i do that why do i do that?

theres a part i 4got to mention he was SHORTer then me or perhaps almost barely my height which i couldnt handle cuz i like tall guys..and my friend mentioned his shoe size is smaller then mine so that just did it for me there was noway i was gona date him

some people do this thinking they r better then others and they laugh about it but u admitted this and u sounded like u cared about why u did this and why it happened so that is good u r not shallow if u were shallow u wouldnt admit it and u would think ur correct for doing this

It sounds like your shallow, but I suppose you're just slow to warm up to a person. Nothing wrong with admiring a person's tan, but to go out, you need to have a reason better than how hot someone is or isn't. I suppose you didn't know him well enough. It also sounds like he went kind of fast. He should have waited for you to call him to walk you home of your own accord. He sounds a bit posessive that way. Anyway, your owning up to it shows a lot of courage and integrity on your part. If you really like him, then you should approach him again. But I think you might just be admiring his looks.
