7-5x=12-3x add 5x to both sides
7=12+2x subtract 12 to both sides
-5=2x divide both sides by 2
x= -5/2
check work: 7-5(-5/2)=12-3(-5/2)
39/2=39/2
same with the second problem
3y+7=7-2y add 2y to both sides
5y+7=7 subract 7 from both sides
5y=0 divide both sides by 5
y=0
check work: 3(0)+7=7-2(0)
7=7

7 - 5*x = 12 - 3*x
7-7- 5x = 12 - 7 - 3x
-5x = 5 - 3x
-5x+3x=5-3x+3x
-2x = 5
x= -5/2
check 7 + 25/2 =? 12 + 15/2
(14+25)/2 = (24+15)/2
39/2=39/2 check.
3y+7=7-2y
3y+7-7=7-7-2y
3y+2y+0=0-2y+2y
5y = 0
y=0
check 3y+7=7-2y y=0
7=7 check.

7 - 5X = 12 - 3X subtract 12 from each side
-5 - 5X = -3x add 5X to each side
-5 = 2X so X = -5/2
7 + 25/2 = 12 + 15/2 = 19 1/2
Use this example to do the other one. After all, we are supposed to be "helping," not doing your entire homework for you!
Good luck!

7- 5x = 12 - 3 x
-5x + 3x = 12 - 7
-2x = - 5
2x = 5
x = 2.5
3y +7 = 7 - 2y
3y + 2y = 7-7
5y = 0
y = 0

7-5x=12-3x (add 3x to both sides to get x on one side)
7-2x=12 (subtract 7 from both sides)
-2x=5 (divide by -2)
x= -2.5
3y+7=7-2y (add 2y to both sides to get y on one side)
5y+7=7 (subtract 7)
5y=0
y=0

First, you should never ask someone to do your homework for you. Second, number 2 has no x.
Solve for the variable. Get the variable on one side, then the numbers on one side, then divide. Make sure to watch your signs--the answer is not -x= #, but it would be x= -#.
You check your work by plugging in the number you got into the original equation, and making sure it does equal.
Have fun. :)
