I don't think so....they allow people to express themselves through video, etc.
It would be like saying the person that sold a gun to someone that used it to kill someone else is responsible for the death.
They provide means.....but not outcome...

Some of the stuff they have on there is pretty shocking...for instance there is a 14 yr old girl who recently got posted on there after the vid had done a circuit round her school...teachers found out but she didnt care...could it ber claim to fame or is it asking for trouble?
People like MTV should realise that stuff is bound to leak onto other websites but youtube is such a good site I dont think they should be sued

No one should infringe on anyone's personal accomplishments. If that is the case shutting down would be better than suing. A lawsuit will only cover a more singular, focused area - whereas shutting them down would shut them up!

freedom never affects others untill u touch thir nose point.
It should respect and value the morals.
Ethics and etiquette should be respected.
Youtube should respect the privacy of others not only the celebrities.

if people dont like youtube they should not be browsing that site...there are thousands of sites that is more blunt than youtube...just that youtube is more popular that's why is accessed more...
