Briefly: I am a US Citizen that inherited a home in Mexico:
I believe that I need someone who can act as a type of mediator between myself and the current legal representation I have there in Mexico. I have many reasons to believe that the assistance that has been given to me has NOT with my best intrest in mind or with any intention of providing a timely resolve.

Get a lawyer in the states that is familiar with Mexico and see whats what. You could also look around for different Mexican lawyers - try to get ones that are more on the expensive or top notch side, they may have more of an inkling to keep your best interests at heart.

Check with the American consulate in Mexico. If they can't help, they should be able to point you in the right direction.
