This company says they hire agents and have money deposited into the agent's account from the client, then the agent sends the money somewhere else for a commission. This company (Orthocraft Limited) sent an attachement with a very legitimate looking registration and a contract for me to sign. They want the account name and account number for the deposits to be made. I've looked as much as I could online and couldn't find antyhing saying this was a scam and they are a registered company. It's one of those things that sounds too good to be true......

Orthocraft UK Ltd. aka Orthobuilder UK Ltd. contacted me yesterday, under the guise of being an employer on Careerbuilder.com, responding to my posted resume. Read the full email ad below. After Googling the company and seeing the responses on this forum, I have contacted Careerbuilder about this company as a potential scam/fraud who may be using their resources and victimizing other job seekers. The real company, as indicated above, trades in dental practice activities, not orthotics. I am based in the USA, not UK, so this is now an international problem. Thank you for your responses, will update this as more facts becomes available. I have emailed Orthocraft UK Ltd. seeking more information about their operation. My goal is to have this scam exposed and potential criminal prosecution occur. I will notify the real company with a copy of this email, so they can take proper legal action. Additionally, have notified the UK Metro Fraud Division with the necessary details to apprehend these scammers. Check out the link in my source to a scam exposure website showing an identical email using the company name Orthobuilder UK Ltd. and Monster.com, known as an Advanced Fee Fraud or money transfer scam. It's really hard to be covert on the internet.

Any job dealing with suppliers is always going to require a face to face interview. Nobody is going to offer this type of job to a stranger over the internet. They are going to chose someone who has procurement experience and also interview you in person to make sure you know what you are doing and talk about your experience at previous employers. So if you've had an interview at their office then it's legit. If you haven't then don't bother

Not only is it a scam SCAM!!!

but in the UK - it is called money laudering and is illegal and will get you sent to jail for many years!!

Of course you will also get your account emptied by the scam merchants - but then you don't need much money in jail!
