It is series 1957 (no A or B after the date), serial number W89369628A. It's a little beat up, but not bad considering its age. I don't know what else to look for as far as details. Can anyone tell me its value or a website where I can find out?

It is not a rare or even scarce note. If you consider it beat up then it is worth a dollar. In grade very fine they sell for just $3 each. Dealers pay at least 40% less. Paper money collecting started to take off in the 1960's-70's or at least get peoples attention, so this note was saved.

I always find ebay a good source of finding somethings worth you can type in what you have see what it is selling for right now and even see what it sold for in the completed auctions

your best bet is EBay, a dealer/coin store will only give you $5 at most if you are lucky
