im on the 4th badge, and i cant get past the F@(KING GENGAR! its really making me mad..
i used my gyrados to beat the first 2 pokemon, then that gengar kills all the rest of them (bayleef, pidgeotto, beedril, drowzee, sudowoodo)
what the hell will beat a gengar?

train your pokemon a little bit more from fighting other trainers or wild pokemon. then you will win. even see if your drowzee will evolve

I would say train drowzee until it evolves into hypno...and get the evee from Bill in goldenrod city (his house) Evee is normal so ghost attacks won't hurt it, and bite the crap outta gengar. Also bring potions.

FIRSTLY GENGAR IS WEAK TO PSYCHIC/DARK SO LEVEL UP DROWSEE AND HAVE AT LEAST ONE POK'EMON OVER LEVELLED LIKE EVERYONE DOES. THEN SEND OUT DROWSEE TO KICK GENGARS ***, THEN PROCEED TO THE OTHER MONSTER THAT ARE SENT OUT. WHAT LEVEL IS BAYLEEF?
