it could work. i've known couples who actually divorced and remarried, so yes it can . I would recommend counseling first and if you still feel it's necessary make sure you have a seperation agreement regarding financial issues and more importantly any children involved. The last thing you want to happen is that you move out and she files for divorce using "abandonment" as a reason.

The saying goes...absence makes the heart grow fonder. My husband and I were separated for a year and a half(not by choice) after only being married for one year. The separation couldn't have come at a better time though. We were on the verge of divorce. During our separation, we were 1,000's of miles apart and we spoke briefly on the phone once a week. Of course when we were finally reunited we were very happy. We did struggle a little after our separtion, but what we finally realized how hard it was to be apart we didn't want to go through it again. We've married 10 years.

No, seperation usually does not work. If you get back together then sometimes things will be worse instead of better. You can stay seperated for as long as you want to be seperated. A couple that seperate sometimes end up divorced. My first husband and I had seperated and I did not want him back after he left me. We had too many problems in the marriage. We did get divorced finally. You both should try marriage counseling to get the problems worked out. A marriage counselor can sometimes be a big help.

What is the real reason u want to separate????
Is it another woman????
Is it work????
R u still in Love with her? The person Not with what she has done for u.
I believe in giving Ur all in a relationship. Even more when u r married. Remember the words that both of u said "In sickness in Health, For better for worst till death do u part." What happen to that Man that said those sweet word in front of the hole world.
U need to get some counseling for Ur self and then get marriage counseling with Ur wife.
No one said that it was going to be easy if it was imagine there would be more marred people. Both of u need to grow with each other and for each other. Good luck Best wishes.

if you move out you give up your claim to the house when it is big D time. (at least in part) If you don't care get an appartment month to month. I know it will be a dive that sucks in every way. However if you decide to go back you won't get stuck with a year lease on a place you don't need. The sad this is it makes communication worse. If you are trying to make a point go to counseling. It is the most effective way to get someone to listen. Moving out opens the doors for her to cheat on you. Its a craps shoot. If you want to gamble on it making things better, its a bad bet. Seek counseling. Its worth it and cheaper than an apartment.
Good Luck

The reasons behind this is your bargaining point. If one of you or both of you are being abusive then yes. If it is adultery then no. If there is no real need that is something that can be turned around and made better without separation. Remember some folks must separate for reasons out of their control, do not make things harder then they have to be, creating calamity because of boredom to bring excitement back is a bit much. Start working in synergy.God bless us all...

Weekly dates/dinner. Updaing ont he children (if any), No s e x during seperation with other persons - sometimes good to get together with spouse for this release. Counseling sessions together.
I wish you the best of luck

If you love someone you want to stay with them. If you don't then you leave(for good). It hasn't worked in most cases. If you can't work problems out by being together and communicating what makes you think it's better living apart. That only gives each of you the opportunity to play around and keep a spouse on the sidelines.

It worked for my relationship. We'd been married 6 years, my husband and I were having problems, he wanted a divorce, so I moved back home (my parents). Five days after I moved out of our house, he called wanting me to come back because he missed me. Sometimes you don't know what you have til its gone. So we went to counselling and I moved back home after 2 months of counselling and LOTS of talking on the phone. Things have been great since (this happened one year ago).
It's a good way to really know what your life is going to be like without your wife in it. I suggest trying this before getting a divorce, and definately go to counselling, it really does work if you are both willing to fix your problems.

I am 20 years old and my parent separated when i was 7 years old. They got back together 2 years later and you can't even tell now. They are so happily in love. Even though my mother left my dad we lived less than 6 minutes away so that my father would still be in my life. They bought a house and started a new life together and are now inseparable. So... In my opinion, it is worth it.
