My car is continuing to have problems. It starts idling and riding really rough once i reach 50mph...and it doesn't happen all the time. feels almost like a flat tire. it's a manual shift and the clutch was replaced not even a year ago. AND i did get my tires rotated, balanced and aligned yesterday...it's still doing it! any other ideas? i took it to a mechanic and he said he couldn't find anything wrong with it. would the belts cause that? they may need to be replaced soon.

You never mentioned what kind of car you own. But if it is a rear wheel drive car, check the driveshaft. It may have lost a balance weight . This will cause a vibration in the car at the high speed. If this is what you are experiencing. The motor and trans mounts are the next to check too. have you had a tune up recently? A bad coil or wire will cause misfiring as well.
good luck........

Did you have your suspension checked out? This may be your issue.
