I would say yellow & white. Green is most commonly associated with boys.

Hello there. How nice to talk to someone who is in a good mood! But then you have SO much to be happy about!
I have to say that I agree with Mandy. The experts say that babies can not really see the soft pastel colors that so many are determined to surround them with.
This is just totally my opinion but I always loved decorating my babies rooms in bright primary colors. I loved using bright yellow curtains because when the sun would shine in, it gave the whole room a golden glow! Use any bright color for the floor and you can be as creative as you want to be with the walls. Wallpaper can be really adorable and they designs that can create a whole fantasy world! Just a tall boarder and two different colors of pain, one on the top and another on the bottom.
There are some fantastic mobiles that they make now in wonderful designs that actually allow the baby to see something more interesting that the bottom of the little figures! The new ones actually allow the baby to see all kinds of exciting lil critters! Not to mention the wonderful music! My babies all loved their mobiles
I alwasy loved the idea of all the big, bright colors for my baby to wake up and see every morning. Even wild, crazy colors look soft and appealing when viewed with a childs night light, so I don't think it will be too much.
You have to make your little ones room a place that really appeals to you too, you will be spending some time there also. (don't forget a compfy rocking chair!).
Bless you and your precious little one. You have a great deal to look forward to! Enjoy!
Love and Blessings

I think you should start with a pale yellow on the walls and a pale green for the trim. That way when the baby is here and you know the sex of the baby, you can buy a lamp or somethings like that in blue or pink. Just about anything will go with yellow also as your child gets to be a little older and develops his or her own sense of taste and a favorite color.

I would say a sage green and yellow. If you incorporate light brown also it will give the room a unisex but relaxing feel. The babies toys and gifts after it's born will then show off the definite feel for the gender.

Green and yellow are perfect neutral colors! Try for light shades of green and yellow. There are also many crib sets, baby seats, baby swings, etc. that come in these colors. Some people would opt for a natural, tan shade but I think that babies prefer to be stimulated by colors. Congrats and good luck!

I personally dislike both green and yellow, so for me that would not be an option.

You might consider primary colors - yellow, red and blue. You could combine blue and pink with tan or brown for a warm unisex look.

Don't forget purple, red and orange. All those colors can be unisex.

Babies can't see pastel colors until they are about 3 months old. Our daughters room is done in (bright) yellow, red and blue (female superhero theme). The other colors that babies can see right away are black and shades of grey (which is a little boring). Yellow and green are lovely, just make them bright so that your baby will see them.

I would suggest very soft yellows, or even a baby blue would be alright. White walls, with clouds, maybe something scenic. There are multiple ways you could go about this, but I would go with a soft yellow, maybe even a soft orange. Nothing to bright and overwhelming tho. Colors are important because people don't realize that colors effect your mood. Yellow represents calm, and nurturing. I hope you find my response helpful. Congratulations, and peace and blessings!

Green and yellow usually are the best choices. Or just leave the room white and when the baby is born you can accent with colors - like wall decals, lamp, etc.

You could do a light red and sky blue. You don't want to do anything too bright. Green and yellow is good. But make sure the color is not too bright. The colors should be pleasant.

those sound like great colors for a unisex nursery. there's a lot of nursery items (blankets, etc) that are built on those colors. don't be afraid to go with blues and pinks to accent, after all, your baby won't really care about the colors as long as they are muted and create a sleep-friendly place to be. other colors to consider would be peach, lilac, off-white. another idea would be to pick a unisex theme, like animals, and paint to coordinate with your theme.
