Every spring hundreds of wasps start to hover above our back yard lawn. It continuous to be a real plague throughout the summer and early fall. They seem to be nesting in the ground, but their nests are really hard to find. Please help. Thank you.

You will have to wait until evening or early in the morning when temps are cool. Use a flashlite if necessary and carefully look for activity going in or out of ground holes. the bees will return at nite and start leaving in the morning. Have several cans of wasp killer spray ready and spray any hole you find. This may take more than one day depending on how many are in your yard. Another plus with spray is the bees don't like the lingering odor so hopefully they will leave even tho you don't kill them all.
