Creighton had another solid year in a good conference, and it's nice to see them back in the Big Dance. The Missouri Valley should have had at least one more team in (Missouri St. got jobbed AGAIN), but the MVC will be well represented by the Bluejays and Southern Illinois.
Unfortunately, the 'Jays got a bad break in the draw; Nick Fazekas is an excellent player, and Nevada is equally as good as Creighton everywhere else. Since I don't believe anyone can match Fazekas, I have to say that Creighton will be returning to Omaha after the first round, somewhere around a spread of 81-67.
As far as Josh Dotzler, his playing time went down considerably this year, probably as a result of his points-to-turnovers ratio declining. If Dotzler doesn't pick up his game skills considerably, especially in ball-handling, I hope he's been paying attention in class, because that stat line does not reflect a player with aspirations at the next level, or even CBA or Europe.

I think so. The Missouri Valley is gaining recognition for being a tough mid-major conference, and with the Blue Jays beating Southern Illinois, it speaks volumes on how good the Creighton squad can be.

The Jays have a tough first-round assignment with Nevada, who is big, talented, and eager to redeem last year's first round upset. Fortunately, Nevada recently lost one of their key guards, which will no doubt affect how they distribute the ball, making them quite beatable. In the second round, Memphis, despite their weak conference and worthless schedule, will be quite a challenge, as they have bigger, faster players and more of them than Creighton. Even so, a Creighton upset in the second round remains a very possible scenario.

It's cool that Creighton made it,because I'm a huge MVC fan, but If they get past Nevada(which is possible) they won't get past Memphis!!!
