Here's an idea: Become an online jurist. You don't need any qualifications except US citizen and registered voter. (You don't say your age, so ...)
You won't lack for interesting cases. They pay pretty well, too. Here are some websites. These were recommended by ABC News, so they probably checked them out. This is no joke:

Volunteer. Depending on your age but young and old are welcome at the local hospitals (candy stripers are still around!), libraries, senior citizen centers, civic centers, boys & girls clubs, non-profit centers, etc.
Get a job! Make money so you'll have it.
Join a book club - expand your mind & your friendships.
Write letters to elderly relatives - what a wonderful treat for them!

I like to just go walk around in a mall or town square. You can go with friends or by yourslef. Just window shop (meaning just look, dont buy) so when you get money, you know what you like!!!!!!!!
