Unless you pay for Smiley Central. The free version of Smiley Central will install the MyWebSearch and associated spyware. You approve the installation of this when you agree to the End User License Agreement (EULA).

Norton and other AV/AS programs cannot remove it because it is part of the Smiley Central program. Smiley Central does claim their program is legit because the place a listing of MyWebSearch in the Add/Remove programs and allow you to remove it. When you do you remove Smiley Central at the same time.

It looks like spyware, acts like spyware, steals your information. IT IS SPYWARE.

I wouldn't recommend it. When you use Smiley Central, you've inviting in the very nasties that Norton is designed to keep out. Norton can't stop the bad guys at the door if you hold it open for 'em.

Smiley Central comes the the my web search tool bar which is notorious adware. Smiley Central is a piece of junk that gets removed from every computer that crosses my path.

Don't use Smiley Central, that is a terrible thing that is completely laden with spyware. It will severely slow down your computer. Don't even install it or go to their site.

i think of you're slightly nuts to have all of that crap working on your pc... and of path this is going to sluggish issues down... and a few of those courses you mentioned would reason injury. I rather advise removing ALL of that stuff (different than possibly the spybot) and buying a competent antivirus/firewall from a supplier like McAfee (good!)... and as long as that's exact configured, and set to straight away replace.. with those 2 you would be nice... as long as you in addition to mght look after your gadget exact with abode windows protection patches and any protection patches for courses you utilize and you look after secure surfing conduct (like no longer downloading each little bit of crap somebody you don't be attentive to recommends). good success.

norton isn't the best program for spyware,
smiley central is bad for your computer
i'm not sure if you have downloaded it
but if i were you i would get rid of it
it may look cool but it isn't good for your system
as many of your answers have said
they cant all be wrong.

ITS VERY BAD. DONT USE IT. U WILL GET A PROGRAM CALLED INSTANT ACCESS AND IT IS SPYWARE!
