Might be a cramp, but it is a possible sign of a ectopic or tubal pregnancy. GO to the doctor.

I would get it checked with your doctor hun! It is probably down to the softening of the ligaments that happens during pregnancy (the same thing that causes aching feet an most back pain.) The pain associated with an ectopic pregnancy is usually in the tip of the shoulder. But I would check it just in case - just to put your mind at ease! That's what they're there for!
Good luck!

I am 5-6 wks and I have the exact same pain! It is right in the middle under my shoulder blades. It sucks but it is worth it :) I checked with my dr and it seems to be normal in the first trimester. It is just your body adjusting to the changes. Congrats and good luck!

If it's in your back then it's probably stretching pains that reach up to your shoulder. Lol i've been having the same, and it's a pain. Don't know how far along you are, i'm 8 weeks. Hope it's all ok. If you're worried, see your doc..it's what the're there for. Good luck hun x

I had something kinda like this when I was nearly full term, my daughters feet were really high up and were pushing my rib cage at the back out slightly, unless someone sat pushing back on it it was agony!

I honestly dont think its pregnancy related. Could just be a regular ache and pain that we sometimes get.
