I'm with you 37 weeks pregnant and no I can't sleep and I haven't found any relief. Just looking forward to having the baby and guess what you'll be tossing and turning at night again especially if your going to breastfeed because I found it difficult to sleep on my stomache/breast because they became sore.

Sorry this is just part of pregnancy. If you are moving and talking the baby is sleeping happily hearing your voice and being rocked to sleep. If you stop moving and talking he/she feels the difference and wakes up. With that much extra weight you will not be getting a good nights sleep, course once the baby is here you won't either. Sorry but you are royally screwed on sleep for the next 14 months or so.

Try different arrangements of pillows - one between your legs, one supporting your belly, two under your head to help keep elevated and prevent indigestion/heartburn. There are also some expensive ($60ish) pillows specifically for pregnant women. Bobby makes one and I think another is called the Snoogli or something. If you share your bed with a husband or boyfriend, you could ask him to sleep on the couch a couple nights so you could have the whole bed to spread out and find what's comfortable for you.

I had the same problem, around the same time. It is really hard to sleep because not only are you uncomfortable but so is your baby. Your baby is running out of room and starting to get ready to be born. Labor is not only hard on you it is hard on the baby too. Talk to your doctor about not sleeping, my doctor told me that it was alright to take Tylenol PM, but like I said talk to your doctor first before taking anything. Hope you get some rest.

I asked my Dr that if there was anything I could do when I can't sleep and he said take Benadryl! I haven't tried because I have been able to sleep. I was somewhat surprised when he said I could take Benadryl to help me sleep! Hope that helps!

33 weeks, 1 day with my first! It's a girl!

I'm at week 21 & just starting to get like that. I used to sleep on my stomach so this is a BIG adjustment for me. I think that plays a part in my not being able to get comfortable & sleep.

Its normal. You can try a warm bath, get a massage or something. But get used to it. The baby will come out and keep you up in different ways.

Ask your doctor before taking anything.
Usually they recommend Tylenol PM or Benedryl or if those don't work you can always ask about Ambien.
