Im thinking of going to Austin on Saturday morning and staying over night. I'd like to check out SXSW, mostly interested in music- not films. Anybody have a good suggestion of a music venue that might be great to visit on Saturday the 17th?

on the verge music showcase @ 5th and Trinity has an all day thing. Its an outside venue and doesnt cost a thing. Tons of bands and it is going on all weekend. What kind of music are you into? I could suggest some bands that I know of.

It is hard to know what to recommend without knowing your musical taste. Here is a copy of all the bands playing on Saturday. I think you will like whatever music is playing at the bars you normally like to go to. Good Luck.
