I remember my aunt had a method using a sewing needle and thread but I don't remember what she did with it.
I'm sure a lot of you were taught methods from relatives.

Hang the needle at the end of the thread and dangle it over your wrist or belly. if it goes in a circle it's a boy, back and forth girl.

I heard of the chinese calendar and according to it It said i would have a girl and right now im 5 months pregnant and it is a girl good luck!

Amniocentis, ultrasound, and chorionic villius sampling. These might not be the "fun" methods you are seeking, but unlike needles and thread, they actually work and actually mean something.
