your mom has preference between siblings? and if you r a mom, is it possible to have preferences between children? why?

I know my mother prefers one of my sisters, she never even tried to hide it - as a parent myself it was one of my biggest fears when I was pregnant with my second child, my daughter was so incredible, how could I not prefer her? I thought... until my son was born, now I am so relieved, I love them equally, and don't understand how a person can have a preferred child.

Sure it's possible. I raised my 2 sons alone since they were 2 and 4 years old. Both of my boys are as different as day and night. I had to deal with 2 different types of personalities. One son has my traits while my other son has his fathers traits. One son was pretty easy going while the other one was next to impossible to handle sometimes. It wasn't easy not too show partiality, but I did it. I would never favor one over the other.

I'm in my 40s and my mother has always cared more about my half sister and her kids than me and mine. And she is a skank druggy who let her son go to jail for something she should have gone for and has driven her daughter to the mental hospital. Both of my children are responsible adults and she always treated them second best. I treat my kids the same, but prefer my granddaughter, lol.

I'm constantly joking with my children about who the favorite is. If one of them does something silly or stupid, I tell the other they were just moved to the top of the list. They always see who can outdo the other. lol
Seriously I love my children equally..........because no one else will! :)

the quantity of love i have for my children is equal-the ways i love each of my children is different b/c they are different-though my 3 older children will tell you i favor their 15 month old sister-b/c she is the baby and needs the most attention nowâ¥
