These people are not stupid, we are for thinking they are. The fiasco in Iraq is the pinnacle of audacity from the republican party. Knowing the history of the region how could they not know trying to install a democracy in Iraq would fail? When there is an army of civilian workers from the oil industry in Iraq along with the troops it makes one wonder why. I never heard of civilian workers during the Vietnam conflict, not to say some may not have been there but not thousands like Iraq. The most corrupt administration in my over fifty years on earth.

Just remember Bill and Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Al Gore were all saying the same things about Iraq and had the same intelligence reports to look at. If anything the intelligence failure can be directly traced to the weakening of the CIA by the Clinton administration (they were required to remove all human resources from "friendly" countries (Iran, Syria, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Egypt)) It is hard to get good intelligence without anyone actually there to check things out.

Because Bill Clinton weakened the intelligence gathering agencies so bad that the intelligence gathered was not reliable, just as the rest of the world was misinformed.

The have selected memory, if the light shines and cast a shadow they don't remember it, and if the light shines and don't cast a shadow they are the devil. This is the most corrupt and criminal administration that I have ever seen and I am 61 years old.

selective choice. Pick and choose what the facts that support a hypothesis or point ot a course of action. If you look at enough alternatives and manipulate the numbers enough you can come up with the facts you need to resort to any course of action. Almost everyone does it, they are just masters at it.

They are lying and there is proof that they knew they were lying about things they knew were not factual in Bush's SOU, like Mushroom Clouds" when he knew they had NO nuclear weapons!
Face it, Bush is a liar, who now wants to attack Iran!
